Dollars for Daraja: A Night of Music

Dollars for Daraja: A Night of Music will be a night of dining, dancing and fun.

The night will be filled with performances from various Marin County students.

The stage will also be graced with Melanie Voorsanger, a Senior at Sir Francis Drake High School in San Rafael and the main organizer of this event.

All proceeds from this show will go straight to Daraja Academy for Girls in Kenya. Daraja Academy is a boarding secondary school for Kenyan girls with top academic scores and exceptional leadership skills but no means to continue their education. The academy provides shelter, food, healthcare and counseling services which allows students to focus on their academic and personal potential, without being hindered by the everyday barriers of poverty.

In Swahili Daraja means “bridge” which is what the academy provides these girls with: a bridge from who the girls are now to who they have the potential to become.

VIP Seating $25.00 - plus an additional $7.50 table fee per ticket
