Reggae Night feat. The San Francisco Music Club, Lumanation and Thrive

Good Music. Good Vibes. George's Reggae Night will feature traditional old school roots reggae with a new school attitude in a beautiful nightclub setting.

Starting the night will be The San Francisco Music Club,led by Lorin Rowan & Jimmy Dillon, founding members of Marin County’s own,The Edge. They have transformed their high energy rock/reggae sound into an exciting and colorful cross pollination of styles and genres; a world music experience that draws from Afro-Cuban/Hi-Life, funky New Orleans grooves,R&B as well classic Jamaican roots music reminiscent of Bob Marley & The Wailers.

Rowan,is a Grammy award winning songwriter and longtime member of The Rowan Brothers and has worked with Jerry Garcia, Phil Lesh and David Grisman.

Dillon has performed and recorded with Clarence Clemons, Bruce Springsteen and Sting and has toured extensively in Europe.

The night continues with San Rafael native Lumanation: an outstanding Reggae/Rock band who’s been building up regional success as support for national headliners like Pepper and Iration, and are now back at George’s.

Closing the night will be Thrive, a hybrid Reggae/Rock band who is pioneering a unique sound in the ever-growing genre of Reggae/Rock music. In a world where materialistic and careless attitudes prevail, Thrive is carving a positive, new musical niche within multiple musical markets.

Thrive! is the collaboration of the musical talents of Aaron Borowitz, Kenneth Rogers, Erik Cleveland, Scott Schipper,and Andrew Forgy. In just two years, they have shared the stage with great performers like: Steel Pulse, Collie Buddz, SOJA, Tribal Seeds, Rootz Underground and countless great bands all over California and Hawaii.
