Rudy Colombini & The Unauthorized Rolling Stones

An evening spent with Rudy Colombini and The Unauthorized Rolling Stones combines the best of two musical worlds and appeals to broad tastes. As the audience settles in, they are treated to exceptional, original compositions that possess the rare attribute of sounding like familiar favorites upon first listen. Indeed, Colombini's reputation as the best Mick Jagger impersonator in the business, combined with the quality of his songwriting, can blur reality. The listener may begin to wonder if some of Rudy's tunes aren't actually lesser known numbers off classic rock albums.

After roughly 30 minutes of Rudy pouring himself into his music, this master songwriter then unleashes his alter ego, embodying the persona of Jagger in his prime. He continually struts across the entirety of the stage, commanding the audience to travel with him through hit after hit. He flirts shamelessly with the adoring ladies down front and sometimes joins them on the dance floor without missing a beat.

While Colombini stirs the audience into a frenzy, Ken Khristian is channeling Keith stage left, just in front of the vertical-bass virtuosity of Kenny Crampton as Bill Wyman.

On the far side of the stage, Mark Banning's leads emulate the best of Ronnie Wood and all the while, a semi-anonymous Charlie Watts toils away in the shadows, holding down the beat.
